§ 14. Meetings of council, boards, commissions and committees.

  • A. The council shall meet regularly at such times and at such places as may be prescribed by its rules, but not less frequently than two times each month. Notices of such meetings shall be posted in places convenient to the public and the places of such posting shall be kept on file with the city clerk.
    B. All meetings of the city's council, boards, commissions and committees shall be open to the public; provided that executive sessions of such bodies may be held as provided by state law.
    C. Minutes of executive sessions shall be kept confidential except from members of the governing body which met in executive session.
    D. No executive session may be held for the purpose of taking any final action or making any final decision.
